Silas Boateng has been appointed as the Vice President of the Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association in England and Wales.
In this esteemed position, he will advocate for the interests of all young barristers in England and Wales who have been called to the Bar at Middle Temple.
The elections took place on March 26, 2025, where Silas competed against three British candidates for the Vice Presidency and achieved victory.
His success reflects his commitment, leadership, and dedication to advocacy within the legal field. Originally from Ghana, Silas Boateng earned his LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2020.
He then advanced his legal studies in the United Kingdom by completing the Bar course at the University of Law, leading to his call to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022.
Silas became a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2021, which is one of the four Inns of Court in the UK, possessing the exclusive authority to call Bar course students to the Bar of England and Wales. In 2022, Silas made history by being the first person of color elected as the Debate Officer of the Middle Temple Students’ Association in England and Wales.
