Felix Gyamfi, the acting Director General of the National Service Authority (NSA), has announced that moving forward, individuals without a Ghana Card will not be permitted to undertake national service.

He made this declaration during an interview on Joy FM’s GhanaConnect, as reported by Gh Page.

Gyamfi emphasized, 'Without a Ghana Card, participation in national service is prohibited.' He further asserted that the Ghana Card serves as a crucial form of identification, preventing individuals with dubious identities from accessing the system.

Additionally, he stated, 'Those graduating from institutions not properly accredited by GTEC should not engage in national service, as these institutions lack credibility.'
