The former Vice President, Bawumia, has asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot successfully operate a 24-hour economy.
In a recent address, he reflected on his previous warnings to the Ghanaian populace regarding the NDC, which went unheeded.
Bawumia contends that he cautioned citizens about the close relationship between the NDC and power outages, stating that as long as the NDC remains in power, power outages will inevitably return.
He elaborated on the impracticality of a 24-hour economy in the presence of power outages, questioning, 'Is it feasible to maintain a 24-hour economy amidst power outages? It is not feasible.
We alerted Ghanaians that the NDC and power outages are inseparable; whenever one takes a step forward, the other follows closely behind.'
He concluded by noting, 'Ghanaians did not heed our warnings, but it is now evident that we face a significant issue.
What we managed to control for eight years has become a substantial challenge in just four months under their governance.'
