Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman, has denied allegations of his involvement in illegal mining activities known as Galamsey.
During the NPP 'Thank You' tour in Kumasi, he addressed the rumors surrounding his supposed participation in Galamsey. He asserted that there is absolutely no truth to these claims and urged Ghanaians to disregard them.
While he acknowledged possessing a license for Galamsey, he emphasized that he has never engaged in such activities and does not intend to in the future.
Furthermore, Chairman Wontumi accused the NDC of being the ones involved in Galamsey and other nefarious activities.
