The contentious Ashanti Regional Chairman, Chairman Wontumi, asserts that President Mahama has not succeeded in his role as president. He expressed this opinion during the NPP 'Thank You' tour in Kumasi.
Chairman Wontumi alleges that the president deceived the citizens of Ghana prior to the last general election.
He contends that although the president made several commitments, months have passed without any of them being realized.
Chairman Wontumi highlighted several commitments made by the president, including a pledge to raise cocoa prices and improve the living conditions of the average Ghanaian.
However, he noted that the president is simultaneously dismissing the very citizens who supported him, leaving them unemployed.
