Three individuals have reportedly been sentenced to 19 years in prison for the theft of iPhone 6s devices. The High Court circuit sentenced the trio, identified as Mercy Sokpe, Atsu Kamasa, and Godfred Dzidonu, for their involvement in the robbery. According to reports, the three conspired to steal an iPhone 6s from a young man named Elijah Togbedzi. The incident unfolded when Mercy Sokpe approached the victim under the pretense of wanting to take a selfie with his phone. Once the phone was in her possession, she signaled her accomplices, who then attacked the victim with scissors and fled with the device. Following a comprehensive investigation, the three were apprehended and sentenced to 19 years in prison. A statement from the police indicated that they were convicted and received three-year sentences each for conspiracy to commit robbery, while Atsu Kamasa and Godfred Dzidonu received additional five-year sentences for the robbery itself.
