Professor Gyamfi, a political scientist, has provided a piece of unsolicited advice to the leaders of the NPP. He argues that the NPP's 'Thank You' tour lacks purpose.
Rather than expressing gratitude to Ghanaians for their votes, he suggests that the NPP should convene a National Repentance Conference.
He stated, 'The NPP should gather collectively before God to seek forgiveness.' Furthermore, he remarked, 'The covert and at times overt efforts to distance oneself from the dismal performance of the NPP under Mr. Akufo-Addo are politically naive and immature.'
