Ghanaian media figure Serwaa Bronii has launched a harsh critique of Ghanaian men in the media. She has offered advice to Ghanaian women regarding considerations before accepting a marriage proposal. Serwaa Bronii asserts that it is imprudent for a Ghanaian woman to marry a man who is both tall and heavyset. She argues that if a woman notices that the man she is contemplating marrying is thick and tall, she should not be swayed by his wealth or attractiveness. According to her, such men are only suitable for socializing at funerals and are not appropriate candidates for marriage. Serwaa Bronii further claims that these men lack intelligence, and since no woman desires to marry an unintelligent man, they should flee upon recognizing these traits.
