The Ghana Police Service has suspended G/L/Cpl Shani Abdullai for possessing prohibited pharmaceutical substances in Kpalsi, a neighborhood in Tamale, located in the Northern Region.
The officer's illicit activities came to light when one of his clients was apprehended and identified him as the source.
A video that has circulated widely on social media shows the officer being questioned by local residents.
During the interrogation, he acknowledged his role as the supplier to the client who was initially caught.
He also verified that he is assigned to Sakasaka.
