King Promise has been awarded the title of Artiste of the Year for 2025 at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). Prior to receiving this prestigious accolade, the Afrobeats artist secured two additional awards during the 26th TGMA. His popular single 'Paris' was honored as Best Afropop Song of the Year, a category characterized by intense competition. The track, which has garnered significant airplay and resonated with audiences across the nation, was celebrated for its captivating rhythm and lyrical charm. Shortly after accepting this award, the artist known for 'Terminator' returned to the stage to claim his second honor of the evening, being named Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, largely due to the success of his song 'Favourite Story.'
