Constable Godfred Dapaah, a young and promising police officer, has tragically been confirmed deceased. Reports indicate that he was struck by lightning in Cape Coast while engaged in a phone conversation with his girlfriend during a torrential downpour. The incident took place amidst a severe thunderstorm. Eyewitnesses noted that the officer appeared calm despite the intensifying rain, until a sudden bolt of lightning struck him, resulting in his immediate collapse. Regrettably, attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
