Kofi Bentil, a lecturer and consultant in business strategy, has urged Ghanaians to appropriately acknowledge those who truly merit recognition. This advice follows the commendation of Finance Minister Ato Forson for the Cedi's improved performance against the dollar. In just a few months since taking office, the exchange rate has improved from 17 Cedis per dollar to 13 Cedis per dollar. While many have lauded the finance minister for this achievement, Bentil asserts that the true credit should go to former Vice President Dr. Bawumia.
He asserts that the positive outcomes currently observed by Ghanaians stem from a decision made by Dr. Bawumia during his tenure in office.
He stated categorically that “Credit Bawumia for his gold reserve initiative”.
