Christopher Ahordo, a 33-year-old MoMo vendor known as Colombos, was fatally shot by unidentified armed robbers in Gbagblakope, a suburb of Aflao within the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region.
The incident took place around 6:15 p.m. on Monday at his shop situated along Diamond Cement Road.
Eyewitnesses reported that Ahordo was in the process of closing for the day when two masked individuals clad in long robes emerged from a nearby bush.
The assailants, who remain at large, initially fired shots into the air to scatter the crowd before shooting Christopher in the left side of his chest.
He was promptly transported to the Ketu South Municipal Hospital for emergency medical care.
Unfortunately, despite the rapid response, Christopher Ahordo was pronounced dead upon his arrival at the medical facility.
